After this, the hacker hacked the mobile and converted his SIM into an e-SIM. He was duped of Rs 85 thousand.
Application was sought to activate the SIM.
Actually, the victim told that his SIM was closed. After this, he applied to activate the SIM. After which, a fraudster received an activation call in the name of activating the SIM. After this, on pressing 1, 85 thousand rupees were withdrawn from the youth's account. Not only this, the accused started Whatsapp from the youth's number and sent messages of PM Awas to all the people in contact and asked them to click on the link.
Innocent people are being trapped.
People believe that they could have been cheated if they were lured with the benefits of housing. However, the victim has complained about the entire matter in Amarpatan police station. The police has started investigating the matter.
