After this, they get access to sensitive information like personal data like contact list, bank details etc.

Recently, Himachal Pradesh has reported the highest number of such cases. Your PAN card and Aadhaar card information can also reach scammers through wedding card files on WhatsApp. The cyber police has said that do not share your OTP with anyone over the phone. Apart from this, do not share personal data like debit card, Aadhaar card, PAN card.
