IIT Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released recruitment for the posts of English Language Instructors. The application process for this recruitment has started. Applicants can download the application form for the post of English Language Instructor available on the IIT Delhi website https://home.iitd.ac.in/jobs-iitd/index.php under the "Faculty Posts" section. Candidates can submit the application form by 26 November.

The filled and signed application form, along with self-attested copies of all the required documents/certificates (through the employer if applicable) must be submitted to the given address of IIT Delhi. Candidates should also ensure that the applications arrive by the last date.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must have a PhD degree in English or allied subjects.

Candidates must have passed an M.A. in English or allied subjects with first class.

Candidates should be less than 45 years of age. However, the age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates, and 5 years for ST candidates.

Salary of Rs 75,000

The position will be on a contract basis initially for one year. The contract can be extended up to three years. Consolidated pay of Rs 75,000 per month + benefits like house rent allowance at the rate of 27 percent on consolidated pay will be given.

The official notification states, "The Institute reserves the right to examine to shortlist interview candidates if required. The position will be on a contract basis initially for one year and may be extended up to three more years. Mere fulfillment of the required minimum qualification and experience does not entitle the candidate to be called for written test/interview."
