New Zealand cricketer Doug Bracewell has been banned for one month for using cocaine during a match. The Sporting Integrity Commission revealed in a statement that 34-year-old Bracewell had used cocaine before Central Districts' T20 match against Wellington in January. He was found positive in the test after the match. In that match, he bowled brilliantly and took 2 wickets for 21 runs. Not only this, he had scored 30 unbeaten runs in just 11 balls and had taken two catches. Because of his performance, the team won, after which he was chosen as the player of the match.
