Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has launched a vicious assault on the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Maharashtra Assembly election campaign approaches its last day, according to the ANI.

Reddy said in a speech in Pune on Monday that the BJP has conceded defeat in the next elections, as shown by PM Modi’s departure for the G20 conference.

“Today marks the end of the Maharashtra campaign. PM Modi is no longer in the nation. According to Reddy, this indicates that PM Modi and the BJP have conceded their loss and withdrawn from the conflict.

He also questioned Modi’s accomplishments during his 11-year term as prime minister and attacked the BJP for supposedly attempting to split the nation for political purposes.

“To win elections, the BJP is attempting to split the nation, according to several ads I read in the media today. “After serving three terms and eleven years as prime minister, PM Modi has nothing to say about the work he has done,” Reddy remarked.

The BJP has launched an advertisement campaign aimed at the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the lead-up to the Maharashtra Assembly elections, which are in only two days.

Along with the MVA logo, the advertisements call on voters to “Say No to Congress” and emphasize a number of terrible events that took place under past Congress-led administrations, including as the 7/11 train explosion, the 2003 Mumbai serial bombings, and the 26/11 Mumbai terror strikes.

It also included allegations of financial mismanagement at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and suspected corruption, including the black-marketing of Remdesivir by a Congress officer.

According to ANI, the campaign also questioned how the government handled the Gowari slaughter and the Palghar Sadhu lynching.

Randeep Surjewala, the general secretary of the All India Congress, responded by denouncing the BJP administration in a news conference on Sunday. He called the BJP a “runaway” or “Bhagoda Jutao” enterprise.

He listed the “four M’s” as Mumbai mortgaged, Mahayuti’s weapons and gundaraj (rule of goons), Mahayuti’s Mehngai (inflation), and the “Khoka Group vultures” exploiting Maharashtra’s land.

Surjewala said that the government was favoring certain commercial interests over others, especially when it came to land purchases and construction projects in Mumbai. He also questioned the government’s economic choices and raised worries about Mumbai’s growing crime rates.

According to Surjewala, “Adani now owns Mumbai Airport and electricity supply… He is the beneficiary of Maharashtra’s biggest land deal — the Dharavi Development Project.” According to ANI, he also denounced as unjust the need that all builders in Mumbai acquire TDR from Adani.

Surjewala said, “Among India’s biggest cities, I am sure you know Mumbai is the highest in crimes, with 14 crimes reported in a day,” and accused Chief Minister Eknath Shinde of shielding criminals from the purported rise in crime in Mumbai during Mahayuti’s administration.

“How many tenders and contracts have been awarded by Mr. Eknath Shinde in the last one year?” Surjewala said, challenging the Maharashtra government’s choices.

Both parties are still accusing each other and making their claims to the audience as Maharashtra voters get ready to cast their ballots in the assembly election on November 20.
