UP Horror: Following an argument over alcohol, a man in Banda slashes his wife’s throat with a sword

According to a police officer cited by news agency PTI, a man is accused of killing his 30-year-old wife in the Banda region of Uttar Pradesh by slicing her neck with a sword. On Sunday night, the event took place in Maroli village in the Banda district’s Mataundh region.

According to Station House Officer Sandeep Kumar, Priyanka was assaulted by 33-year-old Deepu Singh when they were alone at their home. According to SHO Kumar, there was a disagreement between the couple and Deepu had an alcohol addiction.

The woman died immediately after the incident, according to SHO Sandeep Kumar, and her husband ran away. According to the SHO, the wife’s mother-in-law called the police after returning home later that night and discovering the blood-soaked corpse.

The officer said that the corpse had been submitted for a postmortem and that a murder investigation had been filed. Additionally, he said that the case is being looked into and that attempts are being made to apprehend the accused.

In another incidence, a man who was freed from prison on parole reportedly shot and killed his wife, two kids, and a daughter late Monday in the Bhadaini region of Varanasi. He was later discovered dead on Tuesday afternoon in Sadarpur village, Rohania, in a structure that was still under construction.

On Monday night, Rajendra Gupta, 50, is accused of killing his wife, Neetu Gupta, 45, at the family’s home in the Bhadaini neighborhood.

According to the inquiry, Rajendra Gupta had a tense relationship with his wife and had killed his father, brother, sister-in-law, and security guard since 1997.
