fans have slammed for a "big mistake" during her special.

On Saturday (November 16), the Miranda star, 53, wowed the judges with her Couple's Choice routine in the iconic Tower Ballroom with her dance partner Vito Coppola.

The dazzling routine saw the pair incorporate some of her co-star Miranda Hart's unusual dance moves in the dazzling Fosse jazz inspired number to Pad Dam by Kylie Minogue.

The dancing duo scooped up an impressive 39 points out of a possible 40 where they shared the top spot on the leaderboard with Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec who blew viewers away with their Paso Doble.

But some viewers have called out the blonde bombshell's apparent error - despite her high score - after the rest of week nine.

The main issue many viewers had with the routine was the fact that the couple didn't make use of the Tower Ballroom's renowned spring dancefloor.

Instead, their performance started with the pair sat at a table before they hopped on top to show off their brilliant footwork. After watching the stellar performance, viewers flooded to X - formerly known as Twitter - to share their thoughts online.

One user penned: "The best dancefloor in the world and Sarah and Vito dance on a table!" Another agreed: "They went all the way to Blackpool with that great sprung floor and then danced on a table."

A third echoed: "Yes and not great use of Blackpool dance floor," as a fourth chimed in with: "The difference in both is obvious, Sarah was overmarked."

Meanwhile, one fan commented: "Just my opinion but Sarah hardly did any dancing!!" However, others were less than impressed with judge Craig Revel Horwood's harsh scoring on the night.

The long-term judge argued the performance was "a bit too perfect" during his closing comments. The ballroom expert explained: "It was a little bit too perfect. It lacked attitude in those still moments to bring you out of the crowd."

His controversial comments earned an eye roll from fellow judge Motsi Mabuse who fumed: "We used to celebrate too perfect!"

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays from 6.20pm on BBC One or catch up on BBC iPlayer.
