Adrit Roy's new Bengali TV show 'Mittir Bari' to premiere on November 25

Adrit Roy is coming back to the small screen! The handsome hunk of the Bengali entertainment industry is coming back to Bengali television . The ‘Mithai’ famed actor took a brief break from Bengali TV after the popular TV show concluded. During that break, Adrit got married to Bengali TV actress and his co-actor from ‘Mithai’, Kaushambi Chakraborty . After a brief hiatus hiatus, Adrit is now set for his comeback to the small screen with his new show, ‘ Mittir Bari ’. On ‘Mittir Bari’, Adrit will be seen sharing the screen space with Parijat Chaudhuri . ‘Mittir Bari’ is set to premiere on a leading channel on Bengali TV on November 25. The new show has been given the time slot of 9 pm.

Adrit will be playing the male protagonist Dhrubo in ‘Mittir Bari’. On the other hand, Parijat will portray the female protagonist Jonaki on the show. The first looks of their characters from the show are out now.

Adrit, known for his work in projects like ‘Noor Jahaan’, ‘Prem Amar 2’, ‘Parineeta’, ‘Lockdown’, ‘Password’, gained immense popularity on Bengali TV after starring as Siddharth Modak aka ‘Ucchhebabu’ in the superhit Bengali mega serial ‘Mithai’. Adrit was cast opposite Soumitrisha Kundu on the show who played the titular character Mithai. The Show continued for almost two years before concluding in 2023.


During his brief hiatus, Adrit checked a major milestone in his personal life. The popular face of Bengali TV tied the knot with actress Kaushambi Chakraborty. The couple went Instagram official on the occasion of New Year after dating for a while. They got hitched on May 9 in a traditional Bengali wedding ceremony and hosted their reception party on May 11. After the wedding and reception, the couple jetted off to Goa for their honeymoon.
