Recently information was issued to the ration card holders by the department. Under which it is necessary for the ration card holders to get e-KYC done. 31 December 2024 deadline has been fixed for e-KYC. Those who have not done e-KYC till 31 December, their names will be removed from the ration card and they will not get ration.

E-KYC is necessary till 31 December

Crores of people in the country have ration cards. People are given ration at a low price on ration cards. The benefit of government facility is available in all the states of the country. Information was issued to ration card holders by the Food Supply Department. Under which it has been made mandatory for all ration card holders to get eKYC done. Earlier the deadline for this was till September, which was later extended to November.

But now this deadline has been extended to 31 December 2024. If any ration card holder has not completed the process of eKYC by this date. Then from January 1, 2025, these ration card holders will stop getting ration given by the government at a low price. The names of these people will be removed from the ration card.

This is how you can get e-KYC done

To get e-KYC done in ration card, ration card holders will have to go to their nearest ration shop. There they will have to give fingerprint on the POS machine present at the shop. After fingerprint verification, some information will have to be verified. After this the process of e-KYC will be completed. After e-KYC is done, you must confirm it once from the ration dealer.
