Bollywood is a place where you come across film producers, directors, and even superstar’s children who are under the radar of nepotism. However, it is worth noting that not every star kid gets an easy break. Before discussing nepotism to an extent, it’s important to understand the journey of a star kid in Bollywood. Even the star kids have to struggle a lot before getting any big project. Today we are talking about one such Bollywood actor who faced struggles before entering the film industry. Despite being the son of a renowned director and actor, even he had to take the difficult path to make their mark in films.

This actor once travelled by bus and assisted his father

The Bollywood star we are talking about is none other than Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan. Yes, you read that right, even though he had faced struggles in Bollywood even before he got his first break. Hrithik Roshan is one of the few actors who created an impressive impact in the film industry with his very first film. However, his entry into Bollywood was rather not simple, despite being the son of Rakesh Roshan, a popular film director and actor, Hrithik Roshan’s journey in Bollywood was not a smooth one.

During an interview with NDTV, Rakesh Roshan gave two choices to his son one was to go abroad for higher studies, and the other was to assist him in his work. It is now obvious that Hrithik chose to work with his father. He initially worked with his father’s production team just like other crew members and further revealed that he travelled by bus and ate with them.

When Hrithik asked permission from Rakesh Roshan

While Hrithik Roshan assisted his father and worked with the team. Rakesh Roshan revealed that his son never complained about his work. However, there was one instance when Hrithik made a request. While shooting for the movie Khel at a foreign location, Hrithik approached his father and asked if he could use his bathroom, as there was dirty water coming into his own bathroom.

This story proves that Hrithik Roshan’s entry into the industry was a result of hard work and his talent, not just a privilege that his father handed him over. Despite being from a film family, he had to go through struggles like any other newcomer before finding success in Bollywood. According to Jagaran Josh, Hrithik Roshan has an impressive net worth of Rs 3,100 crore as of 2024.
