Mess with anyone, but not with me… To whom did Sharad Pawar give this challenge?

The noise of assembly election campaign in Maharashtra has now stopped. In the last phase of the election campaign, Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) chief Sharad Pawar gave a tough challenge to his opponents. Pawar has told his opponents that messing with him could prove costly. For this he also gave the example of his political life and said that it is necessary to teach a lesson to those who have betrayed me.

Addressing a public meeting in Madha, he said that I have experience in Maharashtra, I have contested many assembly, Lok Sabha elections and Rajya Sabha elections. Even when I went abroad in 1980, 52 MLAs rebelled and supported the government, after which I had to lose the post of Leader of Opposition in the Assembly. Even after this I did not lose courage.

He said that after three years of hard work, I fielded new candidates in the elections and not a single one of the 52 old MLAs came out victorious. Everyone lost. So mess with anyone, but not with me. It is necessary to teach a lesson to those who have betrayed us.

Is Ajit Pawar the target?

This statement of Pawar is being linked to his nephew Ajit Pawar. Ajit Pawar is the leader who divided NCP into two parts. After breaking with many MLAs, he first joined the Shinde government and then captured the NCP as well. It is being said that somewhere within Sharad Pawar, there is a pain of disintegration of his party, for which he wants to answer through the current elections.

Sharad Pawar is with Mahavikas Aghadi and Ajit is with Mahayuti.

In the politics of Maharashtra, there was such a rift between the uncle and nephew duo that Ajit Pawar joined the grand alliance of BJP and Shiv Sena Shinde faction. On the other hand, Sharad Pawar is standing with Mahavikas Aghadi which has Congress and Shiv Sena of Uddhav Thackeray faction. It is being said that both uncle and nephew are busy in belittling each other in the election field. Who among the uncle and nephew will prevail over whom will be known on 23rd November because the results of the elections are going to be revealed on this day.

Elections on 288 seats on November 20

Voting for the assembly elections is on Wednesday 20 November. So the result of assembly elections is on 23rd November. After 2019, the state divided into two big parties. After the split between NCP and Shiv Sena, the party got divided into two factions. Among these, Ajit Pawar faction of NCP supported BJP and took part in the government. Before the split in NCP, there was a big split in Shiv Sena also.

Uddhav Thackeray had to resign from the post of Chief Minister

After the rebellion of Eknath Shinde, Uddhav Thackeray had to resign from the post of Chief Minister. After this, Eknath Shinde became the Chief Minister with the support of BJP. Meanwhile, since assembly elections are being held in the state for the first time after this division, the eyes of the country are not focused on this election. There is a lot of curiosity about whether Mahayuti government will come again in the state or whether Mahavikas Aghadi government will be formed.
