However, Shami had returned to the field for his state Bengal in the Ranji Trophy only last week. In the match against Madhya Pradesh, Shami bowled about 45 overs and took 7 wickets and led the team to victory. This performance of Shami not only removed the doubts about his fitness, but also showed that he is still bowling sharp.
