A sensational case of murder of a Tantrik has come to light in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. The dead body of a Tantrik was found lying in a Havan Kund in Barat Pahari village of the district. The family members of the deceased Tantrik expressed the fear of murder and dumping the body. On receiving the information, the police arrived, took possession of the body and started investigation. It is alleged that the Tantrik had told a family about money buried in the ground. When money was not found even after excavation, the family members killed the Tantrik.
The matter is of Barat Pahari village of Sadar Kotwali area. Here, 65-year-old Haricharan Ahirwar, resident of Vendo village, was brought along with him by Virendra and Pratap, residents of Barat Pahadi. It is said that the deceased Haricharan used to do tantra-mantra and exorcism. The family members of the deceased told that Virendra and Pratap had taken the wedding procession to the hill village on the pretext of organizing a Bhandara.
Family members told that Haricharan's brother's in-laws house is also in Barat Pahari village. That's why he came. When he did not return after two days, a search was conducted. On Monday, his body was found lying in the havan pond near the village temple. His stick and torch were also lying there. This is how he could be identified. It is alleged that after murder, the dead body was thrown into the Havan Kund.
On receiving information about the dead body being found in Barat Pahadi village, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. CO Deepak Dubey said that after receiving information about dead body lying in Barat Pahadi village, police came to the spot. The body was identified as Haricharan Ahirwar. The allegation is that Tantrik Haricharan had told Virendra and Pratap that money was hidden. When he got the excavation done, the money was not found. Due to this, both of them killed Haricharan.
