Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, recently met with actor Vikrant Massey at his home in Lucknow. Massey has been occupied with the promotion of his movie “The Sabarmati Report.”
After posting a photo of the actor on X on Tuesday, Yogi Adityanath said, “Today, film actor Shri Vikrant Massey made a courtesy visit to the government residence in Lucknow.”
Vikrant thanked the UP CM for his kind remarks on the movie and posted the same image on his Instagram account.

“I had the chance to meet with Hon. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today. The whole staff of #TheSabarmatiReport has been motivated by their gratitude. Sincere gratitude for this love and respect,” he wrote.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had already hailed “The Sabarmati Report,” calling it a landmark documentary on the 2002 Godhra train compartment fire.
It is encouraging to see the “truth” emerge, he said.
The Prime Minister was replying to a user who had posted a video of the movie’s trailer on X (previously Twitter) and complimented the film, tagging him in the post. On Friday, the film was released.
“Excellent. The fact that this reality is being revealed in a form that the general public can understand is a positive thing. The longevity of a phony story is limited. The truth will always surface in due time. On X, PM Modi wrote.
“The Sabarmati Report,” which was directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan, is based on actual events including the burning of the Sabarmati Express’s S-6 coach at Godhra.
