King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan attended the Global Freight Summit in Dubai on Tuesday. On this occasion, he talked openly about his life. He shared his thoughts about the early years of his life and his rise to superstardom. Shahrukh, who gave three consecutive successful films last year, told how he used to cry in the bathroom during times of failure.
During the summit, when Shahrukh was asked, have you ever thought seriously about your career? On this Shahrukh said, “Yes, I have thought. And I feel very bad thinking like this and then I go to the bathroom and start crying. I don't show this to everyone. Because I think you could cry alone for a while.”
Shahrukh Khan further says, “You have to believe that the world is not against you or you are not the reason for what went wrong or the world is not conspiring to destroy your work. No. You have to admit that you made it very poorly. And then you have to move forward. There are moments of disappointment, but there are also moments when you have to say 'shut up', stand up now and get on with it."
Shahrukh Khan said, “The world is not against you. Life keeps moving forward. I guess if you keep thinking of yourself as an ant, I'm a very good looking ant, but still an ant. Then the wind will come and blow you away. The wind is not against you. She's just doing what she does. Life does what it does. You cannot blame life for failure.”
Shahrukh Khan said that you have to remember that I have made some mistake, I did something wrong or the work went wrong or the strategy and marketing went wrong. I will find out. Then you will have to come back after doing everything right.
