There was an uproar at Madan Mahal railway station in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh when a train arrived late than scheduled. Enraged by the train being late, the passengers vandalized the engine windows and abused the loco pilot. The video of this matter is going viral on social media. The viral video of 15 November 2024 is said to be from Madan Mahal station of Jabalpur. In which a video went viral on social media around 9 am. In the viral video, it can be seen that an angry crowd of passengers is seen pelting stones at the train engine and abusing the loco pilot. It can also be seen in the video that angry passengers broke the glass in the window of the engine, due to which the atmosphere there became tense.
It is clearly visible in the video that a large number of passengers have gathered near the train engine and are continuously expressing their anger in anger. The passengers were very upset due to the delay of the train and their anger turned into an uproar. During this time the glass of the engine also broke. Due to which this situation became more serious. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Jabalpur Division of West Central Railway has taken immediate action and the Railway Protection Force has started investigating the matter. After the video went viral, the Railway Administration is also investigating.
Harshit Srivastava, Chief Public Relations Officer of West Central Railway, said that a thorough investigation is being done into this incident. Besides, help of cyber experts is also being taken and strict action will be taken against the culprits. Along with this, it will also be ensured that such incidents do not happen in future. The railway administration will also take care that passengers do not face much inconvenience in their journey.
After the video went viral on social media, Railways said that such incidents harm the image of Railways. Passengers also have the right to safe travel. The West Central Railway administration has started investigating all aspects regarding this unfortunate incident between the passengers and railway employees seen in the video. This incident has once again proved that due to delay in trains and other inconveniences, sometimes the anger of passengers can get vented out on the railway staff as well, for which the Railways needs to take steps to resolve.
