Sports Desk, Obnews: National poet Dinkar has said that 'when destruction overshadows man, conscience dies first'. This applies not only to humans but also to organizations. The latest example of this has come from the cricket world. If you are thinking that BCCI has done something wrong then it is not so. Rather it is to Pakistan. Pakistan has taken such a decision due to which it is getting embarrassed all around.
First, after organizing the Champions Trophy, then the defeat against Australia and after Jason Gillespie rejected the offer of the post of head coach, PCB appointed Aaqib Javed as the new limited overs coach. At the same time, now he has appointed a batsman who has not played a single international match in his cricketing career as the batting coach of the team.
PCB has appointed Shahid Aslam as the batting coach of the national team after the Australia tour. The surprising thing is that Aslam has not played a single international match till date. Shahid Aslam has previously worked with the Pakistan team for many years as assistant coach, fielding coach and assistant manager. But he has become a full time batting coach for the first time.

He has been working as a coach at the High Performance Center in Lahore for the last two years. Before Shahid Aslam, former Test captain Mohammad Yousuf was working as the batting coach of the national team, but then he was made the national selector. However, Yusuf later left the post of selector and batting coach and started working at the High Performance Centre.
Yusuf had recently resigned from his post at the High Performance Centre, but his resignation was rejected by the PCB. Now Aslam has been made the batting coach of the limited overs team on the recommendation of interim coach Aaqib Javed.
55-year-old Shahid Aslam has not played a single international match for the Pakistani team. He has taken 34 wickets in 17 first-class matches in domestic cricket for Pakistan. At the same time, he has taken 12 wickets in 16 List-A matches. Apart from this, he has also scored a total of 367 runs including three half-centuries in his first-class career.
For information, let us tell you that Pakistan now has to play a series of three ODI and three T20 matches against Zimbabwe. Mohammad Rizwan will command Pakistan for the ODI series. Whereas the captaincy of the team for the T20 series has been handed over to Salman Ali Aga. However, former team captain Babar Azam has been kept out of both these series. Recently, Pakistan won the ODI series against Australia but the team was defeated in the T20 series.
