In the last few years, the trend of blowing new notes in weddings has increased very rapidly. But new notes are not available everywhere and there is often a fight to get them. Because if your notes are old and torn, then there is no fun. Apart from this, many times new notes are also given as auspicious in weddings. In this season, if your friend or relative is getting married and you also feel like blowing notes, then do not worry.

Said to give new notes in exchange of old or torn notes

Many people arrange new notes in different ways with their identity. Some people get new notes by paying extra money. But let us tell you that recently the country's second largest government bank Punjab National Bank (PNB) had given a great offer to its customers. PNB had said that it would give new notes in exchange of old or torn notes. In a tweet made by the bank, it was said that if you want to get new notes, then you can exchange old notes and get new notes issued. Not only this, you can also exchange torn notes.

 

RBI rule
According to the rules of Reserve Bank of India, if you have torn or cut notes, you can change them in any bank. It is not necessary to have an account in that bank to change the notes. Any bank can change your notes after the necessary procedure. If any bank employee refuses to change the notes, you can complain about it to RBI. It is worth noting that banks give the value of your notes based on its condition.

Apart from banks changing notes, in this digital age, many websites are claiming to provide fresh notes. Some online websites are claiming to provide a bundle of 10 rupee notes (100 notes) for Rs 1620. Some websites are providing these notes at a cost of Rs 1500. Rs 2500 is being charged in exchange for 100 notes of Rs 20. A bundle of fresh 100 rupee notes is available for Rs 11000 and a bundle of 200 rupee notes for about Rs 21,000. Apart from this, shipping charges are taken from the customers.
