At Tuesday’s 19th G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other G20 leaders posed for a family portrait.

On the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Brazil, PM Modi also participated in a session on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), which was attended by notable world leaders such as Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro, Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, World Bank President Ajay Banga, former European Commission Vice-President Kristalina Georgieva, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

The family portrait was shot on Monday as the G20 Summit got underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The leaders emphasized how DPI, AI, and data-driven governance can help achieve the SDGs and improve people’s lives throughout the world,” the article said.

The MEA also provided information on Prime Minister Modi’s attendance at Tuesday’s third session of the G20 Brazil Summit on “Sustainable Development and Energy Transition” in Rio.

PM Modi has engaged in a number of contacts with world leaders and attended important bilateral discussions. Through X, he provided updates on his conversations, emphasizing meetings with US President Joe Biden, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

The current Group of Twenty (G20) summit, known as the 2024 G20 Rio de Janeiro Summit, is being held in Rio de Janeiro from November 18–19.
