According to research released on Wednesday, over half (46%) of Indian knowledge professionals who participated in the poll are already proficient users of artificial intelligence (AI).
According to a survey by Atlassian, a worldwide leader in team collaboration and productivity software, Indian workers have surpassed their counterparts in countries like the US (34%), Germany (32%), France (26%), and Australia (23%), in terms of advanced AI use.
From basic acceptance as a simple tool (stage 1) to sophisticated utilization as a strategic partner and adviser for decision-making (stage 4), the paper delineated four phases of AI cooperation.
Even in the early phases of AI deployment, knowledge workers in India are seeing significant increases in productivity.
According to the survey, people in India who use AI as a basic tool (stage 1) claim to save an average of 104 minutes per day, whereas the worldwide average is only 45 minutes.
For strategic AI collaborators (stage 4), this increases to an astounding 127 minutes each day, which is more than an additional workday per week.
It is insufficient for businesses to just use AI technologies in order to realize the full potential of AI. Additionally, they must allow their staff to try new things,” said Jamil Valliani, Atlassian’s Head of Product (AI).
Valliani said, “Teams should feel empowered and inspired to incorporate AI as a strategic partner in their work.”
The advantages of their investment become more apparent as workers advance in AI maturity. According to the research, an astounding 92% of strategic AI collaborators (stages 3 and 4) said that the time they invest in learning and using AI has been worthwhile.
The study found that 96% of advanced users report that co-creation with AI significantly improves the quality of their work.
Better results are seen by Indian companies that promote experimentation and provide a secure environment where staff members may investigate AI without worrying about failing. According to the survey, 87% of sophisticated AI users attribute their leadership to fostering an atmosphere that encourages creativity and experimentation with AI technologies.
