Infidelity is not the real reason
Vandana said, 'Their lives are very different. I don't think the reason for the failure of marriages in Bollywood is infidelity. It is boredom. They go from one marriage to another out of boredom, which is a unique thing for Bollywood and rich families. Vandana stressed that this is something that she has not seen in other marriages.
Vandana also revealed that interference from outsiders including the spouse's mother, brother, and even father-in-law often adds to the challenges in celebrity marriages.
Vandana further shared a high-profile divorce in the South Indian film industry where the daughter-in-law was unhappy because of her father-in-law's controlling nature. She said, 'There is a South Indian couple where the father-in-law is controlling everything and his daughter-in-law is unhappy. Her husband is a lion in bed but in front of his father, he becomes like a cat. The father-in-law's net worth is around Rs 10,000 crore.'
