Staff Selection Commission i.e. SSC has announced the dates of CGL Tier-2 and GD Constable Recruitment Examination. According to the official notification of SSC, the Combined Graduate Level Tier-2 exam will be conducted on 18, 19, and 20 January 2025, while the GD Constable exam will be conducted continuously from 4 February to 13 February and then on 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24 and 25 February 2025.
SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2025: How many posts of GD Constable recruitment?
The last date to apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2025 was 14 October, while after registration, the candidates were allowed to deposit the application fee till 15 October and make corrections in the application form from 5 to 7 November. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 39,481 posts will be recruited in CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) including BSF and CISF.

Under this recruitment drive, candidates will be selected based on a physical efficiency test (PET), physical standard test (PST), medical test, and document verification after computer-based examination.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam: When will the result of the CGL Tier-1 exam come?
So far the Staff Selection Commission has not announced the result of the Combined Graduate Level Tier-1 examination, but it is being said that the result can be released anytime. When the result is released, the candidates can check it by visiting the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL Tier-1 exam was conducted from 9 September to 26 September 2024 and the final answer key was released on 4 October, while the window for filing objections was open till 8 October.
The exam consisted of questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and 'English Comprehension'. Each section consisted of 25 questions and a maximum of 50 marks were allotted to one section. Under this recruitment drive, 17,727 posts of Group 'B' and Group 'C' will be filled in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Central Government and various Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals etc.
