Maharashtra elections: From Ambani family to Reserve Bank Governor, everyone voted like this

Voting took place for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra on Wednesday, November 20, in which Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das and many big industrialists including the Ambani family voted. According to Election Commission data, 58.2 percent votes were cast in the state till 5 pm.

The RBI Governor along with his wife exercised their franchise at a polling booth near his official residence in South Mumbai. The RBI chief also congratulated the Election Commission officials for the preparations done by them.

Mukesh Ambani voted with his family

The country's biggest industrialist Mukesh Ambani also cast his vote. After Ambani cast his vote, his family members, his son Akash and Anant's daughter-in-law Shloka also reached the polling station and cast their votes. Apart from this, Ambani's wife Neeta and daughter Isha Ambani also came to vote separately in the evening.

Former chairman of HDFC cast his vote

Former HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh also cast his vote at a polling booth in South Mumbai and appealed to everyone to vote. At the same time, Keki Mistry, who has been working with Parekh for a long time, also exercised his franchise. Mistry has retired from the post of Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HDFC.

Piramal also voted

Industrialist Ajay Piramal also voted with his wife Swati near their residence in Mumbai. After coming out, Piramal appealed to all voters to exercise their franchise. Swati Piramal said that the new government needs to focus on children, women's issues and health. Till 5 pm, the voting percentage in the city and suburban areas was around 50 percent, while the entire state witnessed more than 58 percent voting. Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran also cast his vote in South Mumbai and described voting as a privilege which everyone should exercise.

Aditya Birla Chairman also cast his vote

Neerja, wife of Aditya Birla Group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, also voted at the center near their family residence in south Mumbai. Gautam Singhania of textile and realty major Raymond and Ajit Gulabchand of HCC and other people associated with the industry also exercised their franchise.
