Pakistan created history in the Blind T20 World Cup, then defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the second T20.

New Delhi. The cricket fans of Pakistan must be elated at this time, because today itself i.e. on 3rd December, the Pakistan team has won the Blind T20 World Cup for the first time. Now Pakistan team has defeated Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the second match of the T20 series. After scoring 61 runs in five overs and three balls without losing any wicket, they won the series by 10 wickets.

In the second T20 match, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and decided to bat first. After winning the toss, the Zimbabwean team, who came to bat first, had a disappointing start and three of the team's batsmen returned to the pavilion with a score of just 40 runs. The entire Zimbabwe team was reduced to just 57 runs in 12.4 overs.

For Zimbabwe, opener Brian Bennett played the highest innings of 21 runs. During this innings, Brian Bennett hit three fours and one six in 14 balls. Apart from Brian Bennett, Tadivanashe Marumani scored 16 runs. Apart from these two, no other batsman could even touch double figures. On the other hand, Abbas Afridi gave the first major success to the Pakistan team. For Pakistan, Sufiyan Muqeem took the maximum of five wickets. Apart from Sufiyan Muqeem, Abbas Afridi took two wickets.

Before this match, Zimbabwe's lowest score in T20 cricket was 82 runs. In January this year, Sri Lanka had all out Zimbabwe for just 82 runs. But now Pakistan has made the record of bowling out Zimbabwe with the lowest score.

History also created in Blind T20 World Cup

Blind T20 World Cup was started in the year 2012 and till now there have been four editions. The Pakistan team reached the World Cup finals in 2012 and 2017, but both times it had to face defeat at the hands of India. This time finally Pakistan won the Blind T20 World Cup by defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the final. The victory of the Pakistan team was also special because the team had achieved the target of 140 runs in just 11 overs without losing any wicket. The Pakistan team registered this victory in front of its home fans in Multan.
