Mumbai: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to marry on December 4 in Hyderabad. As part of the celebrations, Naga will pay a heartfelt tribute to his grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by donning a traditional Pancha, a unique attire from Andhra Pradesh.

Naga Chaitanya’s thoughtful gesture is meant to pay tribute to his grandfather, the iconic actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, whose influence has shaped the Akkineni family’s strong presence in the Telugu film industry.

The Pancha, known for its elaborate draping and pleats, holds deep cultural significance in Andhra Pradesh. Typically worn for special occasions, this attire not only symbolises tradition but also carries a personal connection for Chaitanya, as it mirrors the style his grandfather was known for. This choice adds an emotional touch to the wedding, making it even more meaningful.

The couple’s wedding follows their engagement in August, which was a private affair held in Hyderabad with close family and friends in attendance.
