According to 's latest tax return, the charity gave the money to Biden's Women's Wellness (Spa)ce, in 2023 - the largest grant it made to any charitable organisation all year.

The couple were said to "resonate" with the charity's mission of helping women in need and Archewell has been named as a founding partner.

that Archewell received £4,183,892, most of which came from one massive £3,947,148 donation.

On the other hand, the charity gave £1,026,240 to other charities in 2023, compared to £1,578,810 in 2022.

The couple is reportedly close to the Bidens and has worked together on projects such as the Invictus Games. The Biden administration has also been trying to slow the process of making 's visa application public.

Ashley is a social worker supporting women released from prison, which inspired her to create her wellness charity for women who have suffered trauma.

The release of Archewell's tax filings comes after the couple by the Daily Mail, who claimed that two grants totalling £4.5 million were missing from the charity's tax returns.

Archewell responded, maintaining that their records were correct and the money would appear on the next tax return.

The charity's records show that in separate reports for the 2022-2023 fiscal year, Fidelity Charitable contributed £3.95 million ($5 million) to Archewell, while TisBest Philanthropy reported a grant of £7,897 ($10,000).

A report by said: "This discrepancy in reported amounts stems from differences in the timing of the grants, which has been clarified in the charity's current filing."

The records outlined salaries and expenditures for key staff members. Archewell spent £787,271 ($997,285) in salary costs and £789,475 ($1 million) in overall expenses .

In the foundation's 2024 Impact Report, co-executive directors James Holt and Shauna Nep said: "Our purpose is simple yet impactful: to show up, do good.

"To drive positive change, rally for communities in need, and nurture spaces where everyone is seen, valued, and supported.

"In 2024, we were honoured , families, and individuals who, despite facing tremendous hardship, are redefining what's possible."
