When is Black Friday 2024?

Black Friday isn't the same date every year, although it traditionally falls on the first Friday after the American celebration of , which this year means it took place 29 November 2024 (last Friday). Four weekends before Christmas, it marks one of the busiest – and best – shopping events in the year, and a great time to make a dent in your Christmas shopping while saving money.

Shoppers can typically shop thousands of impressive money-saving deals across the whole weekend until Cyber Monday (2 December) – with some offers even carrying on longer, as we're seeing.

When do the Black Friday 2024 sales start in the UK?

While lots of retailers launched their Black Friday sales at 00:01 on 29 November 2024, many introduced early offers – including fashion, beauty, tech and homeware brands.

If you've got your eye on something in particular, it's a good idea to have a look at the brands' websites now in case they're still running sales.
