A case of transfusion of fake platelets to a patient by fearing dengue has come to light in a private hospital located in Manjhanpur in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. The patient has been admitted to a private hospital in Prayagraj in critical condition. DM Madhusudan Hulagi, after getting information about the matter, has directed to investigate the hospital with a 3-member team of SDM and ACMO. According to DM Madhusudan Hulagi, the team will also investigate and report on the hospital's registration, doctors, staff and other technical points.

Kripa Shankar, resident of Alwara village of Mahewaghat police station, is an advocate by profession. Kripa Shankar complained of fever recently. He got his blood tested at Akanksha Hospital in Manjhanpur. According to Kripa Shankar's family, in the investigation report she was diagnosed with dengue and admitted to the hospital due to low platelets. The family alleges that the hospital administration and doctors administered fake platelets to the patient as part of a well-planned conspiracy, due to which his condition became critical. The family members took him from Akanksha Hospital in a critical condition and admitted him to a private hospital in Prayagraj.

The victim's family on Tuesday submitted a complaint letter to DM Madhusudan Hulagi demanding justice. Taking cognizance of the complaint of the victim, DM Madhusudan Hulagi has constituted an investigation team of 2 ACMOs under the chairmanship of SDM Akash Singh and said that a detailed investigation of the case will be done and a report will be given.

DM formed a team for investigation

According to DM Madhusudan Hulgi, a team has been formed in the matter. And investigation will be done at every point of the hospital. He said that facts have come to light that in the name of investigation, wrong reports are being given in private hospitals.

This is not the first case in hospitals of Kaushambi district. Many such cases have happened before but the voice of the poor is not heard. Due to which they do not get justice. Even before this, expired blood was given to the patient and it was checked before transfusion to the patient, otherwise the matter would have become serious.

Action will be taken against unregistered hospitals

According to the information, many hospitals are running without registration in Kaushambi district. The matter is hushed up by sealing the hospital where the complaint is made. Or the officials are allowed to run the hospital by collecting money. Such hospitals should be identified and strict action should be taken against them. So that the poor can get justice and also get good treatment. DM Madhusudan Hulagi has said that all such hospitals running will be investigated and action will also be taken against those hospitals which do not have registration.
