According to an official, the fire broke out on the property in the Nayapura region at about 4.45 in the morning.

Manju Yadav, the in-charge of the Nahar Darwaja police station, told PTI, “We received information about a fire in a milk parlour in Nayapura, and a family was living in the same premises.”

According to her, the victims—a couple and their two kids—died from burn injuries and asphyxia.

According to the official, a fire department crew has contained the fire.

Dinesh Karpentar, 35, his wife Gayatri, 30, their 10-year-old daughter Ishika, 10, and their seven-year-old son Chirag perished in the fire, according to police, PTI said.

Dinesh resided with his family on the second story of the building and ran a dairy on the ground level, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Puneet Gehlot.

“We are investigating the fire’s origin. The official informed reporters that the first level was empty, the dairy was on the ground floor, and the family was on the second story.

According to him, the bottom level was where the fire began, and it is believed that the presence of combustible materials there contributed to its escalation.

Despite being on the second story and unable to flee, the SP said that the family could not be saved, according to PTI.

According to him, the fire has been contained and the precise cause will be determined after an investigation by the forensics team.

The situation was severe, according to Gehlot, and the police are working with the local civic organization and government to avoid such mishaps.
