If you use WhatsApp, then this latest update can be of use to you. WhatsApp is working on a new voice mode feature for its users regarding the Meta AI chatbot. This feature is being introduced for Android users. This new feature has been told by WABetaInfo, a website that provides information about every update of WhatsApp.

You will be able to talk to an AI chatbot without typing.

According to the latest report by WABetaInfo, with the new feature of WhatsApp, users will be able to do two-way conversations with an AI chatbot using their voice.

In this report, the company has also shared a screenshot regarding Meta AI voice mode. This feature can be accessed by long pressing on the Meta AI button. The Meta AI button will be located above the new chat icon. Along with this, users can also activate the hands-free mode.

Hands-free mode can be activated by tapping on the waveform icon that appears with the text field. With a bottom sheet, users will be able to see all the control options of Meta AI voice mode, speaker, mute, and disconnect.

The feature may come with multiple voice support.

In some previous reports, it was being said that this voice mode is being brought with 10 different voices. However, it is not yet clear whether the feature will come with multiple language support or not. If WhatsApp launches hands-free voice mode, then it will be the first major platform to make this feature available for free.

The Meta AI voice mode feature has been spotted with WhatsApp beta Android version 2.24.18.18. However, this feature is not yet visible to beta testers. The voice chat mode feature for talking to Meta AI is still in the developing stage. Work is still going on on this feature. The company can introduce this feature soon.
