The annual function of Dhirubhai Ambani International School is making headlines for all the usual reasons. Children of several celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Abhishek Bachchan Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor participated in the event. Videos from the function have been circulating widely on the internet. Among them a video that has caught the attention of netizens features Ambanis choti bahu (younger daughter-in-law) Radhika Merchant walking alongside her mother-in-law Nita Ambani as the duo made their entrance at the event. Both Radhika Merchant and Nita Ambani were photographed at the event. While Nita looked stunning in a beautiful multicoloured saree Radhika opted for an elegant Loro Piana co-ord set. The cost of Radhika’s outfit has left many surprised as it is priced at a whopping Rs 2.5 lakh. Another video gaining traction online captures Nita Ambani’s humble nature as she interacted with the paparazzi. In the video she is heard asking the photographers “Khana bheju kya?” (Should I send food?). When they replied with “Hanji” (Yes) she promptly responded “Acha bhejti hu” (Alright I’ll send it) and instructed her staff “Please send them the packets no.” Nita Ambani the chairperson and founder of Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) and Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (NMAJS) also expressed her heartfelt gratitude in her speech to the support staff who play an integral role in running the prestigious institution. She acknowledged them as “the pillars of our school” and extended her appreciation with humility.
