Saturday Kitchen viewers have been left divided by celebrity guest Harry Hill as the comedian appeared on today's (December 21) episode.
Harry, known for his slapstick humour, joined Matt Tebbutt on the BBC show's final Christmas countdown episode to discuss his new book, How to Be Silly Every Day of the Year.
The episode also featured chefs Poppy O'Toole, Anna Haugh and Owen Morgan.
Harry thrilled his fellow guests with jokes throughout the show. However, fans could not see eye to eye on the star's comments, with some dubbing him "cringe".
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, to praise the TV personality one viewer penned:"Harry Hill is quality. How can anyone not like him...by not liking him I suppose."
A second replied, airing their frustration: "I'm one! Can't stand him! Makes me cringe!", while a third viewer came to the star's defence writing: "I love Harry Hill, he's so silly and clever at the same time!"
Yet another viewer wrote: "Bloody Harry Bloody Hill. Christmas is ruined."
Implying that his fellow guests were not enjoying the "silly" jokes, a fifth said: "Wow! This is hard work! Time to turn over - the fake laughter is too much!"
A sixth person penned: "Loving Harry Hill on #SaturdayKitchen. He's hilarious" with another writing: "I b****y love Harry Hill."
Depsite the social media response, fellow Saturday Kitchen guests were chuffed by the comedian's cameo.
Poppy, known for being a Young MasterChef judge, expressed her excitment on X, writing: "Tune in now BBC1 at 9.30am for @SaturdayKitchen where I can't believe I'm sharing the screen with the icon Harry Hill. I'M READY!"
The TV cook's followers were quick to comment on the post, with some complimenting her outfit for the panel. However, one viewer confronted the 29-year-old and wrote: "What's with the fake laugh!"
To which she fired back: "OMG yeah imagine laughing at comedian Harry hill. What has the world come to x".
Saturday Kitchen returns next Saturday (December 28) at 9.30am on BBC1 and iPlayer
