While visiting Bonda Ghat in Malkangiri district, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said that the women here will soon get the money from Subhadra Yojana.
Deputy Chief Minister Parida said, "12,000 women have applied for Subhadra Yojana, out of which 9,000 women have got the first installment of Subhadra Yojana. The remaining 3,000 will get the money soon, as the problems are being resolved. I have directed the District Collector to look into the problems of drinking water, school, and internet here."
Money will be distributed to more than 20 lakh people in the fourth phase of the first installment. He said, "Preparations are being made for this, however, account verification is taking a lot of time. Land disputes are also a cause of concern in some places. If all accounts are verified by December 30, we can expect to distribute the money in January."
He said that in the 'double engine government', the state government can be expected to depend on the Centre. The central government is ready to extend its support to Odisha.
