BJP is the largest party in the elections, twenty in the government too

In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP emerged as the largest party by winning 132 seats. At the same time, ally Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena has got 57 seats and Ajit Pawar faction's NCP has got 41 seats. Due to BJP getting maximum seats in the elections, Devendra Fadnavis became the Chief Minister while Eknath Shinde, who was the CM in the previous government, became the Deputy CM. Ajit Pawar was the Deputy CM earlier also and is currently in the role of Deputy CM.
