Madhya Pradesh: 3 More Ayurveda Colleges Get NCISM Recognition; 11 In Pipeline

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): National Commission for Indian Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi, has given recognition to three more Ayurved colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Thirty five new Ayurveda colleges have opened in the country including three Ayurveda medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh in 2024-25 session.

These 35 colleges include 33 private colleges and 2 government colleges with 100 BAMS seats. Dr Rakesh Pandey, spokesperson, AYUSH Medical Association said, “Of three Ayurved Colleges, two are in Bhopal and one in Dewas and they opened for 2024-25. NCISM, New Delhi, has given recognition. With this, there are seven government Ayurveda colleges in the state, which are operating in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Indore, Rewa, Burhanpur and Ujjain. They have more than 550 seats.”

In Madhya Pradesh, with these three colleges, there are 07 government Ayurveda colleges in the state, which are operating in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Indore, Rewa, Burhanpur and Ujjain that have more than 550 seats.

In all, 27 private colleges are operating, which have more than 2400 UG seats. Besides, 11 Ayurved Colleges are in pipeline. These colleges will open in Sagar, Narmadapuram, Shahdol, Dhar, Jhabua, Mandla, Balaghat, Morena, Shujalpur, Sheopur and Khajuraho.

Kids Of 22 States Showcase India’s Cultural Diversity; Folk Dance At Balrang

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Children from 22 states showcased India’s cultural diversity through folk dances at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) in the city on Saturday.    Dressed in colourful costumes, they presented folk dances like Gidda, Raasleela,  Dandiya, Jhijhiya, Thali, Khoigu Nalaya Panthi, Karma, Danda, Jalari, which won a huge round of applause from the audience.

It was part of second-day of three-day annual event, Balrang, organised by the School Education Department to promote creative talents of school children, offering them diverse platforms for expression. Besides, live exhibitions themed on Vision-2047 showcased materials prepared by students. The exhibition focused on themes like life skills, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
