New Delhi: Despite facing numerous controversies the Adani Group remains one of the fastest-growing business conglomerates both in India and globally. The group is continuously working to expand its presence across various sectors. Gautam Adani is now advancing into energy sector. Now his company is set to establish another thermal power plant in Bihar. According to the reports the group is investing Rs 20000 crore for this project which is expected to create over 12000 jobs. Additionally the group will expand in cement food processing and logistics sectors in Bihar. Pranav Adani Director of Adani Enterprises Limited made the announcement of these projects on Friday at the Bihar Business Connect 2024 Summit. He stated that the Adani Group is already involved in three major sectors—logistics gas distribution and agricultural logistics—having invested ₹850 crore so far. Pranav Adani said We expect that this massive project will create at least 12000 jobs during the pre-commissioning phase. Additionally 1500 skilled jobs will be created during the operational phase. The Adani Group will invest in several more sectors in Bihar. Pranav Adani said We are going to invest an additional Rs 2300 crore in logistics gas distribution and agriculture logistics. This investment will not only significantly increase our warehousing and handling capacity but will also expand our presence in the EV city gas distribution (CGD) and compressed biogas (CBG) sectors. Here are some of the key details: Adani Group has announced that it will invest Rs 20000 crore in the energy sector in Bihar. As part of this the group will build a supercritical thermal power plant in Bihar. The project will create 12000 jobs during the pre-commissioning phase 1500 skilled jobs will be created during the operational phase. In addition the Adani Group will invest Rs 2100 crore to manufacture and install over 28 lakh smart meters in cities such as Siwan Gopalganj Vaishali Saran and Samastipur. This will create at least 4000 local jobs in the sector. The group will also expand its cement plant.
