CM Dhami inaugurates projects worth Rs 190 crore in Dehradun

While launching projects totaling Rs 190 crore in Dehradun on Sunday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami placed a strong emphasis on urban growth and environmental preservation.

Speaking at an occasion, the chief minister said that Uttarakhand will be the first state in India to have its Gross Environmental Product (GEP) quantified.

“Our administration has begun measuring the Gross Environmental Product for the first time in the State and the whole nation, thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s encouragement. The charging station that we opened today is a part of this effort. This will contribute to the preservation of the ecosystem. At a quicker rate, we will progressively expand this effort across the whole State,” Dhami said.

Additionally, the Chief Minister laid the groundwork and inaugurated a number of development projects totaling Rs190 crore. The goal of these initiatives is to improve infrastructure and provide people of Dehradun with more comfort.

In addition, the foundation stone was set here today for a number of development projects valued at Rs 190 crore. According to Dhami, these plans will represent a turning point in the growth of Dehradun as a whole and will provide residents more ease and comfort in the future.

In an effort to encourage sustainable transportation in the state, he also officially opened the Dehradun Electric Vehicle Charging Station at Kanak Chowk.

In order to improve the city’s infrastructure, the Chief Minister also lay the groundwork for a number of development projects, including an automated parking system. The government’s attempts to advance eco-friendly projects and improve urban amenities in Dehradun include these projects.

At Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025, Uttarakhand will feature a pavilion. According to a press statement from the Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s office, the state of Uttarakhand has been given 100 by 400 square feet of land in Sector-7 Kailashpuri Marg, Eastern Track Prayagraj, at no cost by the Prayagraj Mela Authority.

This area will be used to embellish the state of Uttarakhand’s pandal, giving pilgrims a taste of the state’s rich culture. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has received praise from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the land donation.

As Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025 preparations pick up steam, construction has begun in Uttarakhand to offer pilgrims with amenities. During the Mahakumbh Mela, Chief Minister Dhami asked the Uttar Pradesh government to set aside specific land for the Uttarakhand pandal.

CM Dhami requested the allocation of this land. For the pilgrims at this pandal, the state government will provide up all the amenities they need. Pilgrims from throughout the nation and the globe will also be able to experience a little of Uttarakhand’s rich culture via the pandal.
