However, Martin has revealed that many road users had reported getting "no response" from firms weeks later in a major concern.

In fresh advice to drivers, Martin urged individuals to never give up as he pointed motorists towards the FCA directly.

He posted on social media site X: "A few people telling me they've got no response from the finance firm, not even an acknowledgement after weeks. I've spoken to the FCA and it says to report that here https://fca.org.uk/contact.

Martin has recently admitted that a staggering 2.5 million complaints had already been issued through his Money Saving Expert template.

The finance guru has previously suggested motorists could receive thousands of pounds back in compensation and payments could be on a PPI-scale.

Earlier this year, Martin admitted some motorists had already received the "winner email" but would have to wait for payments.

Any confirmation from firms outlining road users did have a discretionary commission arrangement on their policy are impacted and could cash in when the FCA probe ends.

The investigation was supposed to end in September but has now been delayed until December 2025 to give firms more time to respond.

He said: "People should be checking if they have a DCA. What this ruling from the Court of Appeal and the FCA means for me is it is more likely if you had a DCA you will be paid out.

"But it is also more likely it will take longer for you to be paid out as everything will be delayed."
