Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Sunday opened his mouth on the distribution of portfolios of ministers in the cabinet. While accepting the limit of allocation of departments in the cabinet, he said that obviously some people are unhappy with it. NCP chief Ajit Pawar participated in a road show in his constituency Baramati on Sunday. On being made Deputy Chief Minister for the sixth time, Ajit Pawar was given a public felicitation at Sharda courtyard on behalf of Baramati NCP taluka and city.
On this occasion, Ajit Pawar said that since the number of ministers in Fadnavis cabinet is more and each has to be given a department. In such a situation, some people are happy with the departments and some people are not.
He once again challenged the opposition on the issue of EVM. After the assembly results, the opposition is continuously raising questions on EVMs, on this Ajit Pawar said that we did not think that the public would vote unilaterally. We never blamed EVMs.
Ajit Pawar has said that after the Lok Sabha elections, Mahayuti started working more strongly, because of the Ladki Bahin Yojana and electricity waiver for farmers, Mahayuti got good success in the assembly elections.
A few days ago, Santosh Deshmukh, sarpanch of Masjog in Cage taluka of Beed district, was kidnapped and murdered. Meanwhile, on Saturday, Ajit Pawar went to Massajog and met Santosh Deshmukh's family. Speaking on this occasion, he had said that whatever he has done in this matter, he has once again warned.
He said that such an incident happened in Beed. Whoever is the mastermind of that incident will tarnish humanity. Will not let him go no matter how much access he has. All three of us have paid attention to the Beed incident.
Ajit Pawar has said that inhuman people will be given death penalty through fast track cases. Speaking further, he said that we have also taken note of the incident that happened in Parbhani. Police have also been instructed to thoroughly investigate the matter. Ajit Pawar has said that many incidents are happening in Baramati also, hence it is important for parents to pay full attention to their children.
