In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a young man found it difficult to protest against his wife's illicit relations. There was a fight between the husband and wife on this issue when the wife's lover arrived. He hid behind and hit the young man on the head with an iron rod. Due to this the young man fell down on the spot and started writhing in pain. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and registered a case against the accused under relevant sections and started investigating the matter.
The case pertains to Jabrauli village of Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. According to the police, the wife of 48-year-old Ramesh, who lives in this village, had an illicit relationship with Sonu Rawat, who lives in the same village. When Ramesh came to know about this, he protested and a fight broke out between the two. Meanwhile, Sonu Rawat also reached there and, hiding from behind, attacked Ramesh several times with an iron rod. Due to this, Ramesh fell on the spot and started writhing in pain and within no time he became unconscious. After this incident Sonu fled from the spot.
The family members hurriedly took Ramesh to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. According to the family members, Ramesh has two daughters and a son. After the incident, these children tried to save their father. Hearing the screams of these children, people from the neighborhood reached the spot and Ramesh was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. According to Ramesh's neighbours, 20 days ago Ramesh had given a complaint at Kankaha Chowki about illicit relations between his wife and Sonu. In this, Ramesh had also told about the threat to his life from the accused Sonu. Despite this the police did not take the matter seriously. According to Ramesh's neighbors, if the police had become active at that time, Ramesh would not have lost his life. On the other hand, ACP said that Ramesh had given a verbal complaint.
