Dec. 23, Patna The Pragati Yatra will begin Monday from Bagaha in West Champaran, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Yatra has all of its preparations finished.
It is thought that the Chief Minister would use this Yatra to highlight his state development initiatives.
In addition to 150 policemen and magistrates, another 500 police officers have been sent in to maintain safety and security. To guarantee a seamless and significant occasion, West Champaran’s administrative apparatus has been putting in endless effort.
“A thorough security system has been established to guarantee the Yatra’s seamless operation. Sushant Kumar Saroj, SP of West Champaran, said that the district government is doing all possible to supervise the preparations.
To make it easier for the Chief Minister to park his helicopter, the West Champaran district government built two helipads at Kadamhiya village, Santpur. In order to be ready for the CM’s arrival, the district has been beautified and organized.
To emphasize its growth, special emphasis is being paid to Santpur Ghothwa Tola, which is close to the Valmiki Tiger Reserve. Among the initiatives are the creation of different handicrafts in advance of the event and the encouragement of local women’s involvement via Anganwadi workers and the Jeevika group.

Janata Dal-United (JDU) started a marketing campaign the day before the Pragati Yatra with banners that said, “When it comes to Bihar, the name is only Nitish Kumar.” These posters, which have been widely shown in Patna and other regions, have strengthened Nitish Kumar’s reputation as the leader of Bihar.
According to the first round of the Pragati Yatra program, Nitish Kumar is scheduled to visit West Champaran on Monday. On December 24, after spending the night in Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve, we will go to East Champaran. There is no show on December 25th since it is the Christmas holiday.
On December 26, he will go to Sheohar and Sitamarhi; on December 27, he will travel to Muzaffarpur; on December 28, he will travel to Vaishali; and finally, he will return to Patna.
