Her social media speaks for her elegant and sophisticates style sense and how she regularly indulges in yoga, exercise and healthy dietary practises to keep her life fit and healthy. Recently, she opened up about practising intermittent fasting to keep her body toned and fit and 51.

Malaika Arora’s Intermittent Fasting Rule

Intermittent fasting is one of the most popular fitness trends that grabbed attention this year. This is a dietary routine where individual eat meals only between certain time windows. Malaika Arora opened up about how her last meal is 7-7:30 pm every night, so she keeps a fasting window of 16-18 hours, meaning she doesn’t eat anything in the morning. Intermittent fasting is alternate periods of eating and fasting. Speaking to Times of India she said that she fasts for 16-18 hours, and she follows the 16/8 method, where she eats within a 8 hours-window only during the day. But she drinks liquids through the day that help her get through the fasting window.

She has an entire liquid plan set for the morning fasting as staying hydrated makes the fasting easy. Malaika consumes a variety of drinks for the morning like coconut water, jeera water and plain water with lime.

Not just her fashion sense but her fitness routine is also something to take cues from. ABC juice translates to Apple, Beetroot and Carrot juice. Earlier, she also uploaded a video talking about her ABC juice. Arora shares that she sips on this healthy juice at 10 AM in the morning. It is a blend of apples, beetroots and carrots with a hint of ginger. All these ingredients serve health benefits in a platter individually.

Apple is rich in fibre while carrots have vitamin A, E, beta carotene and are healthy for over all body. Ginger is one of the oldest tricks in the book for a healthy body. These are loaded with antioxidants too.
