In a traditional Telugu ceremony, Indian badminton player PV Sindhu and Venkata Datta Sai were married on Sunday in Udaipur. As the first image of PV Sindhu’s wedding ceremony surfaced on social media, fans were taken in awe at the traditional and lavish event in Udaipur.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, tweeted the first image of Sindhu and Datta, who were encircled by close relatives and friends and were exquisitely adorned in traditional wedding garb.
Shekhawat also posted a photo from the event on his social media account, giving the newlyweds his blessing.

“Pleased to have attended the wedding ceremony of our Badminton Champion Olympian PV Sindhu with Venkatta Datta Sai in Udaipur last evening and conveyed my wishes & blessings to the couple for their new life ahead,” Gajendra Singh stated in the message.
Numerous media sources claim that the wedding festivities began on December 20 and would conclude with a lavish luncheon in Hyderabad on December 24.
With five world championship medals, including a gold in 2019, in addition to her silver and bronze in the Olympic Games, Sindhu is considered one of India’s best athletes.
The champion badminton player reached a career-high world ranking of No. 2 in 2017 and won consecutive Olympic medals in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
