Pushpa 2: The Rule has been making waves across the country ever since its release. The film has already entered the Rs 1600 crore club shattering several records along the way. From setting new benchmarks at the box office to breaking records previously held by some of the biggest blockbuster films Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to rewrite history. However the movie still needs to beat the box office records set by the two highest-grossing films.
Pushpa 2 still trails behind these two movies
Pushpa 2 has become the most-watched film of 2024 ahead of other blockbuster hit movies including Stree 2 Singham Again Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Kalki 2898 AD HanuMan Amaran The Greatest Of All Time Devara Part 1 and Manjummel Boys. According to Sacnilk in just 18 days Pushpa 2 has grossed impressive numbers across various languages: Rs 307.8 crores in Telugu Rs 679.65 crores in Hindi Rs 54.05 crores in Tamil Rs 7.36 crores in Kannada and Rs 14.04 crores in Malayalam. This brings its total earnings at the box office to a staggering Rs 1062.9 crores. On the global front Pushpa 2 has crossed Rs 1600 crore in just 18 days.
However Pushpa 2 still trails behind Dangal (Rs 2070.3 crore) and Baahubali 2 (Rs 1742.3 crore) in worldwide collections. In terms of IMDb ratings Pushpa 2 has a score of 6.5 trailing behind both Dangal (8.3) and Baahubali 2 (8.2).

Pushpa 2: The Rule a sequel to Sukumar’s 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise stars Allu Arjun in the titular role alongside Rashmika Mandanna Fahadh Faasil Jagapathi Babu Dhananjaya Rao Ramesh Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Pushpa 2: The Rule was released worldwide on 5 December 2024. The film follows Pushpa a small-time daily wage worker who rises to the ranks of a sandalwood smuggler. He struggles to sustain his business while facing tough opposition from the police led by Shekhawat.
