In this operation, which has been going on for four days, so far Rs 9.65 crore in cash and 12.6 kg of gold jewellery have been recovered, whose estimated value is Rs 10.25 crore.

Simultaneous raids on 22 locations

The Income Tax Department started this campaign on Thursday, in which raids were conducted at 22 locations. Apart from finding a large amount of cash and gold in these raids, cryptocurrency accounts have also been detected, which is the first case of its kind in Rajasthan. So far, action has been completed at 16 locations, while the search operation is going on at the remaining six places.

Huge amount of cash and gold recovered: 20 lockers of luxury wedding vendors were searched in the operation, in which a huge amount of cash and gold was found. According to sources, these vendors were evading taxes on a large scale in connivance with resort owners, event planners, florists and other service providers. During this, transactions through fake accounts have also been revealed.

Electronic devices and documents seized: Several mobile phones, laptops and other electronic devices have also been seized during the operation, which are being scanned. Officials say that much more evidence related to tax evasion and illegal transactions is likely to be found in these devices. Undeclared income worth Rs 19.9 crore seized: In the investigation so far, the Income Tax Department has seized a total of Rs 19.9 crore of undeclared income. The department says that these raids have exposed a major network of tax evasion. According to Income Tax Department officials, this action is expected to bring transparency to the luxury wedding industry and curb tax evasion.
