If you are driving a car, stuck in some important work, or in a situation where you cannot pick up the phone, then important calls are also missed. If the phone is away from you, you hear the ringtone but do not know who is calling. But how will it be if your phone itself tells you who is calling? There is a feature in your phone itself that as soon as you turn it on, your phone starts telling the name of the caller. Let's know how to turn it on.
This feature is amazing!
To access this feature, you have to install a third-party app Truecaller on your phone. In this, when you get a call, you can choose the option of telling the name of the caller instead of the ringtone. The phone will tell you who is calling you. Apart from the spam filter, the biggest advantage of Truecaller is related to telling the caller ID. This app tells the name of the caller whose contact number is not saved in your phone.
Follow these steps
- Install the Truecaller app on your phone and open it.
- After this, create an account login and tap on the profile photo in the top corner.
- Now you have to tap on the Settings icon.
- After going to the Calls option from Settings, you have to scroll down and in the Phone Calls section, you will find the option of Announce Phone Calls.
- Now you only have to turn on the toggle appearing in front of Announce Phone Calls.
When you have done the settings mentioned in Truecaller, then whenever anyone's call comes, the app will tell by speaking who is calling. If the number is not saved, then when the call comes, its number will start announcing. Apart from this, you can also turn on this setting with the help of Google Assistant. For this, you can turn on this setting by saying "OK Google, announce incoming call".
