Which you can make quickly at home.

material to make

  • 400 grams cauliflower (cut into small florets)
  • 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 500 grams potatoes
  • 1 large onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 4-5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 pinch asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 2-3 tbsp oil
  • salt as per taste

method of making

To make potato-pea-cauliflower curry, first wash the cabbage. After this wash it and cut it into pieces.
Then wash the green peas. After this, finely chop onion, tomato, ginger, green chilli and garlic.
Now add chopped tomato, ginger, green chilli and garlic in the mixer and make a smooth paste.
Then heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds in it. Then add asafoetida and crackle both well.
After this, add chopped onion and fry until it turns golden. Now when onion becomes golden, add masala paste and fry.
Also add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix.
After this, add potatoes, cauliflower and green peas, mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Then add 1 cup water and add salt as per taste. Then cover it and cook on medium flame for 10-12 minutes.
After this add garam masala and coriander leaves and mix.
Now your hot Matar Gobi curry is ready.
Enjoy it with roti or rice.
