The stunning lehenga worn by Bollywood’s most popular actress Aishwarya Rai in the historical film Jodhaa Akbar has been decided to be displayed at a museum.
In Jodhaa Akbar, Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan’s performances along with their on-screen chemistry and the film’s music are still loved by fans.
Released in 2008, the film paid special attention to the set design and the costumes worn by the actors.
Recently, a video clip from Jodhaa Akbar was shared on the official Instagram account of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The caption of the video revealed that the red wedding lehenga worn by Aishwarya Rai in the film will be part of the Academy Museum’s exhibition.
The lehenga designed by renowned fashion designer Neeta Lulla is famous for its beautiful embroidery and the peacock motif stitched onto it.
This lehenga will be showcased as part of the exhibition titled Color in Motion, representing a significant piece of Indian cinema’s historical heritage.
The video shared by the Academy of Motion Pictures includes several scenes from Jodhaa Akbar in which Hrithik Roshan portrayed the Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Aishwarya Rai’s fans have expressed their joy at the unique honor bestowed on the actress by the Academy of Motion Pictures.
It is worth noting that in the past, the Academy of Motion Pictures has also shared special clips of Bollywood stars like Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan.
