Statistics from online booking platform Agoda as of Dec. 23 showed hill town Da Lat to be the most booked destination between Jan. 29 and Feb. 2 (the first to fifth days of the new lunar year), followed by Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, and Sa Pa.

Data from Mustgo, a booking platform with over 2,000 hotel partners nationwide, also indicated that Da Lat is the most popular travel destination during the Tet holidays.
Online searches for accommodation in Da Lat have increased by 300% from the previous year, and many hotels are fully booked between Jan. 30 and Feb. 1.
The occupancy reported for the three-star segment is 60% and for the four- and five-star segments, 50-60%.
Vietnam’s largest island, Phu Quoc, is experiencing similarly high occupancy rates largely due to visitors planning to come from Russia, South Korea and Europe.
Agoda data showed Phu Quoc to be the top choice of international tourists during Tet. The five-star segment has reported an occupancy rate of 85%, with some already fully booked.
Four-star properties in the central areas are nearly fully booked, while villas and resorts in the south report over 70% occupancy.

Other popular destinations near major cities such as Sa Pa, Phan Thiet, Ho Tram, Nha Trang, and Cam Ranh are also expected to reach occupancy rates of 50-70%, particularly between the second and fifth days of the new year.
The central city of Da Nang is expected to receive a large number of visitors during the holidays, but bookings remain relatively low at 20-30% across all segments.
Bookings are still available even at budget options. Resorts with private beaches are offering Tet promotions, including discounts for early bookings.
In Quy Nhon, average occupancy rates are only 15-20%, with mainly domestic tourists booking accommodation.
