India made a big change in their playing XI for the Boxing Day Test match as they left out Shubman Gill. The number 3 batsman missed the first game of the series due to an injury. Shubman scored a half-century in the game against the Prime Minister's XI and followed up with scores of 31 and 28 in the Adelaide Test match.Shubman only managed to score 1 run in Brisbane. He has made way for Washington Sundar. Sundar will be the second spin-bowling all-rounder in the playing XI along with Ravindra Jadeja. He played the series opener in Perth.Speaking at the toss, Rohit Sharma also confirmed that he will bat at the top of the order. KL Rahul could be moved to number 3.
